Meaningful work, work and life satisfaction: Spanish adaptation of Work and Meaning Inventory Scale

Abstract Meaningful work is the subjective experience that has meaning and understood as an avenue for personal development, from a eudaimonic point of view. The aim this study to adapt WAMI scale meaningful Spanish, well explore its relationship with job life satisfaction. Two independent studies were developed. A first analyzed consistency original factorial model using sample Spanish varied workers (N = 350) through confirmatory factor analysis. Results show adequate replication validity version. second addressed predictive capacity in relation two satisfaction measures health (N=312), mediation between mediated by idea construct discards it variable resulting or consequence work, inherent part occupational activity itself.
